Bryant, R.G. (1993). The sedimentology and geochemistry of non-marine evaporites on the Chott el Djerid using both ground and remotely sensed data. PhD Thesis, Department of Geography and PRIS, University of Reading, UK. This version has selectable text, and is formatted into chapters [60Mb] Please  also note that  this thesis, like the author, is now a little long in the tooth, and that some of the chapters were published as  stand alone papers (see above); these may be slightly more palatable. The thesis does, however,  include some of my raw data from Tunisia, and some additional insights which didn't get published, but which probably should have . So it may still be a useful reference work for anyone working on the Chott el Djerid or any other large playa/ephemeral lake. pdf
